Stephen Duffy presents the Jazz House from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, featuring the Paul Towndrow Quartet and Edinburgh Jazz Bar Trio.

Jazz House presents a specially recorded programme featuring two top Scottish jazz bands at Venue 26, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ @ Potterrow - as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
On Stage will be the Jazz Bar Trio:
Paul Kirby (Piano), Andrew Robb (Double Bass) and owner of the Jazz Barr in Edinburgh, Bill Kyle (Drums).
Bill is a multi-award winning promoter and venue manager who helps to promote live jazz and give new musicians chances.
On the same bill will be:
The Paul Towndrow Quartet.
Saxophonist Paul Towndrow is best know for his projects, Paul Towndrow Quartet, Paul Towndrow Sextet, and 'Newology'. He is also one quarter of the four-piece Brass Jaw, and a member of Scotland's flagship jazz orchestra, the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra.
Paul has released four solo albums and has appeared as a sideman on many others. Much of his output is released on his own label, Keywork Records which was founded in 2005.
His band tonight is Paul Towndrow, (Sax), Brodie Jarvie (Double Bass), John Lowrie (Drums), and this year's new Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year, Peter Johnstone (Piano).
