Lord Coe
4 Extra's extended edition with athlete and 2012 Olympics chair Lord Coe in conversation with Kirsty Young. From December 2009.
Lord Coe, former athlete and now Chairman of the London Organising Committee for the 2012 Olympics, reveals his castaway choices with Kirsty Young.
In a specially extended edition for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 Extra, he shares his life story and explains his musical, book and luxury choices.
Back in 1980, Sebastian Coe's rivalry with fellow middle-distance runner Steve Ovett enraptured the nation at the Moscow Olympic Games.
After retiring from the racetrack, he enjoyed a career in politics.
For the past eight years though, his focus has been on the Olympics once again - not on individual medals this time, but ensuring the 2012 games in London are a success.
