Irish-born jazz singer-songwriter Christine Tobin talks about her introduction to jazz through hearing Joni Mitchell's Mingus album, and speaks about her current projects.

This week, Irish born jazz singer-songwriter Christine Tobin talks about her introduction to jazz and her current musical project which is based around the poetry of W.B Yeats.

In an open interview, Christine explains how picking up the album Mingus by Joni Mitchell introduced her into the world of jazz. She reflects on how her musical career has developed since, from successfully re-imagining Carole King's Tapestry album to putting music to W.B Beats poems.
