The Lords hold a range of debates while MPs are away on their Royal Jubilee recess. Susan Hulme has the best of Monday's debates in the Lords.
With MPs away on their half-term break, it's been left to members of the House of Lords to respond to the horrific massacre in the Syrian town of Houla, that has left more than 100 dead. A Foreign Office minister said the Government was 'outraged' by 'the appalling events'.
Also on the programme:

* Conor Bradford has the best of the day's debates at the Northern Ireland Assembly in Belfast.
* Does the creation of the National Crime Agency to replace the Serious and Organised Crime Agency mean, in effect, a nationalising of Britain's police forces?
* Can anything be done to eliminate the problem of noisy aircraft flying over our towns and cities at night?
