Janice Forsyth reviews Glenn Close's latest project Albert Nobbs, a genderbending period piece about life in 19th century Dublin, plus Damsels in Distress and Sundance London.

Mark Cousins discusses an event his 8 1/2 Foundation posse are staging - making a little 8 1/2 min film on 27th April, with 100 kids, at the Macrobert Centre in Stirling. The film will be called Dear Georges Melies, Thank you for Making the Movies Magical. It's inspired by Scorsese's Hugo, of course. We will recreate some of Melies magic tricks, like one child playing 7 musical instruments at once, and 100 children climbing into a small box.

Award-winning actress Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs) plays a woman passing as a man in order to work and survive in 19th century Ireland. Some thirty years after donning men's clothing, she finds herself trapped in a prison of her own making. Actress Bronagh Gallagher spoke to the Movie CafΓ© about her role in the movie and film critics Eddie Harrison and Wendy Lloyd joins Janice live in the studio to discuss its merits.
