Cerys Matthews presents some highlights from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music along with a selection of favourite artists from her own record collection.

The Cardiff-born singer first enjoyed success in the 90s with Catatonia and, after the band split, she returned to the spotlight in 2003 with her country-tinged debut solo album, Cockahoop.

In 2009, she released Don't Look Down in both English- and Welsh-language versions and she has been nominated in the Open University's search to find a modern-day icon of Wales "for the brilliance of trading rock stardom for folk stardom" and being "one classy dame".

Cerys began presenting a weekly show on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 6 Music in 2010, which you can hear every Sunday from 10am, and features a wonderfully eclectic mix of music, from blues to beats, with poetry and live sessions.
