Simon delves into another great debut novel: The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan, and talks Everest with Simon Lowe. We also put a brand new Confession to our colourful Collective.

Author, Charlotte Rogan, was in our Book Club today with her new novel "The Lifeboat". As the title suggests, it's set on a lifeboat in the wake of the sinking of an ocean liner. Simon delved into the book, read our listener reviews and spoke to Charlotte about how she came to write it.

We also talked Everest with Simon Lowe, to find out if absolutely anyone can try and make it to the top.

Father Simon put a brand new Confession to our colourful and caring collective and we helped Mark in Oxford with his homework.

And Matt Williams looked ahead to the start of the British Superbike season with 2-time former champion Shane "Shakey" Byrne.
