Stephen Johnson talks to Hull University's Brian Newbould about his work on reconstructing a number of Schubert fragments and incomplete works, including the Symphony in D, D.708a which will be given its world premi猫re in the second half of the concert. Stephen Johnson and Professor Newbould will explore the ways in which works can be completed and orchestrated from original piano score fragments and explain how close to the composer's original thoughts they really are.
