Carmen Lundy Interview

Jamie chats to American jazz vocalist and composer Carmen Lundy and digs out an archive recording of the South African pianist and composer Abdullah Ibrahim.

This week, Jamie chats to American jazz vocalist and composer Carmen Lundy. She talks about what it was like growing up in a musical family, alongside her famous bass player brother Curtis and gospel singer mother.

Carmen also discusses her latest album, Changes, and how she has managed to maintain her creativity after nearly three decades of recording albums.

Also this week, Jamie returns to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archives to dig out a recording of Abdullah Ibrahim, the South African pianist and composer, performing on the TV show Ebony back in January 1986.
