Desert Island Discs

Nigel Ogden featuring organists who have been marooned on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's own Desert Island.

Many of our great organists have featured on Desert Island Discs and tonight Nigel Ogden joins in the programmes 70th anniversary celebrations with archive and music from the series.

We hear the musical choices and thoughts of stars of today such as Wayne Marshall and pioneers from the 1930s, such as the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's first resident organist Reginald Foort. We also revive memories of two great characters from the earliest days of the theatre organ, here in the UK; sisters Florence de Jong and Ena Baga.
