Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year
Lorne MacDougall presents interviews and sessions with previous winners of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award.
As the Celtic Connections festival hosts the 12th Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition, three time finalist Lorne MacDougall presents a compilation of previous winners of the award.
Among the sessions and interviews with the wonderfully talented young musicians are Orcadian fiddler Kristan Harvey (2011), the winning performance of Ruairidh MacMillan (2009), music from Ewan Robertson (2008), a special Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland session featuring singer Emily Smith (2002), Gillian Frame (2001) and her trio appearing on Take The Floor and an interview with the 2005 winner and figurehead of the Red Hot Chilli PIpers Stuart Cassells.
