Keith Macdougall reports on the proceedings in the Commons and Lords where ministers say they will overturn changes made by peers to their welfare plans.
In the Scottish Parliament the First Minister, Alex Salmond, rejects a fresh attempt to force an early referendum on independence.
Meanwhile in the Lords there's a warning that millions of people could be denied their right to vote due to Government changes in electoral registration.
And MPs consider the need for greater diversity in those elected to parliament.
