Animation. Lulu is a fun-loving tortoise who, with her friends Hugo the hare, Freddy and Freda the ferrets, Hattie the owl, Barry the badger and Spike the hedgehog, goes on adventures and discovers more about nature and the world around her.

Lulu's pals have made a gift for the teacher and plan on giving it to her the following day. Spike volunteers to keep it safe until then. To protect it from the rain, he hides it in a special place. Unfortunately, a lot of snow falls during the night, wiping out all traces of where the gift might be.
