Basic Entry to Shop Managers
How the four recruits from Up for Hire worked in basic entry level jobs at an adventure park before becoming shop managers of handmade cosmetics stores.
The four recruits worked in basic entry level jobs at Devon's Crealy Adventure Park. They sweated over mundane jobs from shovelling excrement to making candy floss, from dressing up as the park's clown to working the water rides. They were tested on their ability to work in a team as they worked a gruelling shift in the park's busy burger bar, sweating over the hot chip oven. The park's manger Josh Haywood was constantly checking on their progress and he wasn't always overly impressed.
The four were then elevated to shop managers of the handmade cosmetics store LUSH. Here they were asked to manage a busy high street shop each, making sure they motivated their team, hit the all important targets and found creative ways to sell products.
