Lulu is a fun-loving tortoise who, with her friends Hugo the hare, Freddy and Freda the ferrets, Hattie the owl, Barry the badger and Spike the hedgehog, goes on adventures and discovers more about nature and the world around her.

In the group, Barry is the big fellow who isn't scared of anything and Spike is the smallest who is scared of everything. But a big storm will show that things aren't as simple as they look.
