It seems barely a day goes by without further damaging revelations about the UK Border Agency, the organisation which oversees Britain's immigration and customs operation. The recent disclosure that security checks were lowered at UK ports, allegedly without ministerial consent, cost Brodie Clark, former head of the Border Agency, his job.
