Sir Terry has a double bill of live music as he welcomes both Melanie C and Katherine Jenkins into the Weekend Wogan studio.

Sir Terry Wogan eases you into your Sunday lunch with music and musings. This week there's a double bill of live music as he welcomes both Melanie C and Katherine Jenkins into the studio.

Melanie C is an English singer/songwriter and actress best known as a member of The Spice Girls, one of the biggest pop acts of all time. She began her solo career in 1999 with her debut album Northern Star, which went on to sell over four million copies worldwide. She made her West End debut in Blood Brothers in 2009, for which she received an Olivier nomination for Best Actress In A Musical. Her latest album The Sea was released earlier this year, featuring the single Weak to be released on November 7th.

Katherine Jenkins is a Welsh mezzo-soprano from Neath who, in 2004 at the age of 23, signed the largest record deal in UK classical recording history. Her debut album Premiere made her not only the fastest selling mezzo-soprano ever, but the first British classical crossover artist to have two number one albums in a year. Since then she has released seven studio albums, six of which have topped the UK Classical Chart. She also appeared in the 2010 Christmas special of Doctor Who in her first major acting role, and appeared as a mentor on the ITV series Popstar to Operastar last year. Her new album Daydream is out now.
