Ricky Ross sits in for Bob, with Newcastle based sextet Lanterns On The Lake playing live.

Newcastle based sextet Lanterns On The Lake are set to be the next big thing and they play live tonight for Ricky.

They formed in 2008 (as 'Greenpeace') and make an annual concert pilgrimage to the highest pub in England - North Yorkshire's Tan Hill Inn.

Critics have compared their version of Americana to Low, Mazzy Star and Sigur Ros and they followed two acclaimed E.P.s with their debut album, recorded on a shoestring budget in Northumberland, 'Gracious Tide, Take Me 麻豆约拍'.
