Gardening programme celebrating Scottish gardens, with horticultural tips and tricks. The team are enjoying the colour of autumn while battening down the hatches ahead of the winter.
Lesley and George are ticking off a large list of jobs that we can all be getting on with over the next few weeks. These include storing tender plants in the greenhouses and insulating with bubble polythene and pruning other plants such as Buddleja Lavatera and roses in order to prevent damage and wind rock.
Carole and Jim review the stunning trials of dahlias and the 'Cambo style potager' which will still be full of colour and flower until the first frosts. Carole also introduces her early trial for next year which is a pansy trial so look out for a lot of colour next spring.
Lastly the harvest, the final harvest of the season. The tables are groaning with produce and colour and the team take a last look around the garden for this season.
