Sarah Lee Guthrie (granddaughter of American folk legend Woody Guthrie) and husband Johnny Irion join Bob Harris in session.
Bob's guests tonight are the country-rock duo Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion. The granddaughter of American folk legend Woody Guthrie, Sarah Lee joins husband Johnny Irion (himself the grandnephew of writer John Steinbeck) on their second duo album 'Bright Examples'. This latest offering takes their established country rock sound and moves it in a more psychedelic and atmospheric direction - there have already been comparisons with the 60s West coast sounds of Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and The Byrds. They play acoustic tracks and talk to Bob about their ongoing collaboration.
