Sir Terry catches up with Sheila Ferguson of the Three Degrees and Gus McGregor gives a stripped-down performance.

Sir Terry Wogan eases you into your Sunday lunch with music and musings. This week, he catches up with Ruby Wax and the Welsh singer-songwriter Judith Owen. Sheila Ferguson (formerly of the Three Degrees) and The Divines also performs.

Ruby Wax is an American comedian who made her name on the UK alternative comedy scene along with Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders in the 1980s. She later went onto host her own chat show for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and made appearances in Absolutely Fabulous.

She is currently starring in Ruby Wax: Losing It at The Duchess Theatre, along with her friend Judith Owen. The show takes a comic look at the perils of celebrity, fame, motherhood, marriage, kids and career, whilst exploring Ruby's own personal battle with depression through confessional monologues, music and audience participation. The show originally toured psychiatric centres and lecture halls before going to the Edinburgh Festival this year.

Sheila Ferguson was one of the longest serving singers of 1970s American female soul music group The Three Degrees. She is also an actress and a writer, having published works on Soul Food, the traditional cuisine of African America.

This month she is appearing in the new West End production Respect La Diva at the Garrick Theatre in London. The show is a musical celebration of some of the greatest female singers of all time, featuring classic tunes from artists including Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Etta James.
