Carolyn Quinn previews the week's political events with Paul Waugh, editor of the PoliticsΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ website.

Carolyn Quinn interviews Kit Malthouse, a Conservative member of the London Assembly, about the resignation of the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson. Mr Malthouse chairs the Metropolitan Police Authority. Labour's shadow Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Secretary Yvette Cooper also gives her reaction to Sir Paul's decision to resign.

The barrister and author Geoffrey Robertson QC explains why he is critical of the handling of the hacking scandal which has led to Sir Paul's resignation.

Paul Waugh of the PoliticsΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ website explains what he believes will be the political fallout from the resignation.

Further comment on the affair is provided by two MPs - Conservative Mark Reckless and Labour's Emma Reynolds. And the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Political Editor Nick Robinson joins the programme live.
