John Toal will be celebrating archaeology live at Castlerock Holiday Park, with chef Paula McIntyre cooking up a fishy seaside dish.

We’re coming live from Castlerock Holiday park this weekend as part of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s Hands on History dig.

John will be joining head archaeologist Malachi Conway at Bishops Palace to see the treasures the dig team have uncovered. He meets up with historian Stephen Price to discover the secrets of the eccentric Earl Bishop.

Paula McIntyre will be getting in the holiday spirit with some delicious barbequed fish cooked right beside the ocean. You can’t get fresher than that!

We’ll also be chatting to some budding young archaeologists and some seasoned caravaners to find out the appeal of a place by the sea.

John discovers why Michael Palin was so impressed by the legendary Castlerock train journey with a trip up the coast route.

There’ll be live music from Paddy Nash and The Happy Enchiladas.

All this and more after the 10’clock news.
