Sally Magnusson talks science and belief with Oxford professor of mathematics John Lennox, plus Richard Holloway on David Hume and a round up of the year's General Assembly.

This Sunday, Sally Magnusson is joined by Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University, John Lennox, to talk about his life - both as a highly respected scientist, and as a committed Christian. Sally also hears from the home city of 18th century philosopher David Hume - one of the Scottish Enlightenment's key figures, but 300 years on does anyone in Edinburgh actually know who he is? And at the end of an eventful week at the Church of Scotland General Assembly, we have a round up of what's been said, as one of the most contentious debates for decades draws to a close. Sally talks to a Church of Scotland Elder, who has a gay daughter, about the debate over the ordination of ministers in same sex relationships, and the Slut Walk, can women really wear whatever they want in the street?
