Claudia meets author Michael Morpurgo

Claudia meets author, poet and former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo. Plus we have a preview of the 2011 Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms season with Radio 3's Petroc Trelawny.

Claudia meets author, poet and former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo. Michael discusses his new novel Little Manfred. Michael was commissioned to write the book to coincide with the Imperial War Museum's 'Once Upon a Wartime' exhibition which looks at books about conflict written for children and includes his novel War Horse.

Two of the stars of Ian Rickson's new production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal; Douglas Henshall and Ben Miles discuss the play, which is at London's Comedy Theatre.

We speak to director James Mullighan about this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival. The 65th Edinburgh International Film Festival will take place at venues across the city from 15th-26th June, offering a 'film for all' remit and over 100 screenings for audiences to enjoy. As well as a mix of groundbreaking global film, cutting-edge documentaries and shorts, this year will see some exciting changes to the festival format with a lively programme of new events, collaborations and innovative film experiences for the city.

On June 15th, a new series of contemporary music concerts will launch at Oxford Playhouse called 'Listen to this'. Music will be made from the sounds of mechanical toys, from bags of leaves combined with wine glasses, the sounds from a New York city shower... all sorts of everyday sounds presented in an unusual setting. Curator, performer and composer Jennifer Walshe tells us about her quirky programme for the concert.

Estelle Lovatt reviews the latest art exhibitions, and Radio 3's Petroc Trelawny previews the 2011 Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms season.

And we talk to the director and cast of Stephen Sondheim's most recent musical Road Show, about to have its European premier later this month in London's Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre.
