Weekend Wogan returns, broadcasting live from Western House. Sir Terry chats to English tenor Alfie Boe and Radio 2's own Jools Holland.

Sir Terry Wogan presents his Sunday morning show, easing you into your Sunday morning with music and musings.

This week, Sir Terry chats to English tenor Alfie Boe, whose career has spanned more than ten years. Alfie was approached directly by Australian theatre and film director Baz Luhrmann to take one of the leads in his 2002 Broadway production of La Boheme. He released his first solo album in 2007 and later starred alongside Michael Ball in Kismet, and the 25th anniversary production of Les Mis in 2010. This summer, Alfie will be headlining the Festival Finale and Fireworks at Hampton Court Palace and reprising a role in Les Mis at the Queen's Theatre London, before embarking on a UK concert tour later in the year.

Jools Holland is a prolific pioneer of great new music, who received an OBE for services to the British music industry in 2003. A pianist, presenter, composer, singer and published author, he's worked with some of the biggest names in music. The 38th series of Later With Jools Holland began on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two earlier this month.
