Michael Grade and Rhod Gilbert

The former Chairman of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Lord Michael Grade talks to Richard about his Media Society award and Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert talks about his new TV show looking at tattoos.

Lord Grade, Michael Grade, has done it all in his media career. Starting at LWT, he's been in charge of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One in the 80s, was branded 'pornographer-in-chief' at Channel 4 in the 90s, rejoined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ to become chairman, and then left to overhaul ITV. He tells Richard about his Media Society award for outstanding contribution to the media, as well as his recent Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Four series The Story of Variety, looking back at the almost lost world of Britain's variety theatres.

Also on the programme, award-winning Welsh stand-up comic Rhod Gilbert talks about his new tv show which looks at tattoos.

Plus the television review discusses Life of Riley, The Walking Dead and Liz McDonald's departure from the Coronation Street cobbles.
