Sarah Brown and Peter Mandelson
Gordon Brown's wife Sarah on life 'behind the black door'. She denies the former PM was aggressive. And the 'third man' Lord Mandelson on Libya, Murdoch and not speaking to Gordon.
There's a political flavour to this afternoon's show. Sarah Brown, wife of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, begins the programme by discussing her book, Behind the Black Door. She denies to Richard that her husband was ever aggressive towards his staff.
Then architect of New Labour Lord Mandelson discusses the popular uprising in Libya, and Britain's role in bringing Colonel Gaddafi back from the cold. The former business secretary explains why he would have referred Rupert Murdoch's bid to take over BSkyB to the Competition Commission. And he reveals that he has not spoken to Gordon Brown since the publication of his book The Third Man, and does not even have his mobile number.
In the final half hour, TV architect George Clarke is one of this week's experts on hand to solve your practical problems in Help! Can he help our caller shift her stubbornly shut toilet seat?
