Town Hall and Concert Hall Organs

Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings with some entertaining pieces from the organ world.

Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings made on some of the finest Town Hall and Concert Hall organs around the world. Two generations of Father Willis builders are celebrated at Oxford Town Hall and Sheffield City Hall whilst at Birmigham's recently restored Town Hall Hill organ we hear music from one of most revered town hall organists of all time W.T.Best. The Compton organ in Hull's City Hall has a few percussion stops for extra entertainment and we hear Christopher Herrick at the Rieger organ of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre playing an arrangement of 'When Johnny Comes Marching Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ'.
