Glenda鈥檚 reluctantly helping Ronnie with James when Jack announces he鈥檚 sold R&R to Phil. Roxy asks Glenda to deal with Phil for her, she can鈥檛 face him. Glenda鈥檚 anxious about seeing Phil, but arrives at the club to discuss business decisions on Roxy鈥檚 behalf. When Shirley鈥檚 out of the room, Phil hints that he鈥檚 not over Glenda and offers her a job as Front of House Manager. Shirley鈥檚 annoyed, that鈥檚 her job. Glenda鈥檚 tempted, but says she鈥檚 not interested. Later, Glenda鈥檚 determined not to be seduced by Phil. She鈥檚 reading a self help book, and practices what to say to him in the mirror. She goes to see Phil and insists from now on it鈥檚 strictly business between them. She tries to say strong but Phil grabs her and kisses her. She responds and they start pulling off each others clothes.

Kat re-opens the pub and is upset that it鈥檚 empty. Alfie tries to drum up business while Kat talks to Tracey, and discovers she has troubles of her own, she鈥檚 missing her son too. Kat puts on a brave face behind the bar, but gets a shock when Dot tells her they鈥檙e starting a collection for a cot death charity.

Connor convinces Carol to come for a drive with him, he wants her to admit she loves him. Carol bolts out of the car, she can鈥檛 go through all the lying and heartbreak again.

Edward comes to see Dot, did she get his thank you note? Dot realises the missing note was a misunderstanding. She鈥檚 delighted when Edward suggests they have a drink together in the Vic.

Tanya and Greg have a second viewing of Roxy鈥檚 house.

The Masoods despair that the Argee Bhajee roof won鈥檛 be fixed in time for the opening until Greg offers to fix it for them.
