Nine weeks into The Apprentice, and just seven of the candidates are left standing. This week, Lord Sugar ups the ante again as the candidates are called to a skyscraper in the heart of the City's financial district.

As the teams revert back to boys vs girls, Lord Sugar aims to determine who can strike the best deals in a race against time to find and buy ten items in ten hours.

The candidates' powers of negotiation are pushed to the limit as they attempt to track down everything on an unusual shopping list and purchase them at the lowest possible price.

Nick and Karren observe as the candidates get increasingly desperate in their attempts to find bargains while the clock ticks on. With the deadline looming, the tension reaches fever pitch as both teams make a dramatic dash to the boardroom, anxious to avoid penalty fines from the boss. The losing team faces Lord Sugar back in the boardroom - and one of the remaining candidates hears the cutting words - "You're Fired!".
