A Scottish company is at the forefront of opening up the Arctic for oil drilling, but there are concerns over safety. Should we be proud or ashamed of Cairn Energy?

Cairn Energy is a successful Scottish Oil Exploration Company, but should we be proud or ashamed of it?. It is pioneering the process of opening up the Arctic for Oil Drilling. But campaigners have warned its' plans put one of the world's last great wildernesses at risk. In this Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland Investigation Stephen Magee hears claims that secrecy over safety means we can't be sure any accident would be dealt with properly. The company insist safety is its' number one priority. And analysts say that - if Cairn do strike oil - it could have a massive impact on the future of the Oil Industry.
