With Chris While and Julie Matthews
This week's folk show includes an interview with singer-songwriting duo Chris While and Julie Matthews, who talk about their latest album.
Mike Harding presents an hour of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music, including an interview with singer-songwriters Chris While and Julie Matthews about their latest album, Hitting The Ground Running.
The duo's close vocal harmonies and emotive songwriting have earned them an international fanbase, a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Duo in 2009, and Beth Nielsen Chapman has called them two of her "favourite singer songwriters in the whole wide world."
Chris and Julie introduce tracks from their new album and talk to Mike about their other musical projects, including the St Agnes Fountain group, which is gearing up for its annual Christmas tour.
