News and sport from around the UK with Rachel Burden, sitting in for Gabby Logan.
The show kicks off with the sports team - England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones, the man behind the Digger column in the Guardian Matt Scott, and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sport presenter extraordinaire Jill Douglas.
And sportsman turned columnist and author Matthew Syed joins Rachel - he doesn't like the way sport is being sped-up. He calls the new idea of 'power snooker' and Twenty20 cricket "sport for the ritalin generation".
In the second hour, Rachel asks a travel agent the best way to avoid the new departure tax rises on flights out of the UK that are going to hit from Monday, and getting the latest on the gas price rise affecting more than 3 million customers of Scottish & Southern Energy.
And we speak to the woman who was surprised to have her boyfriend propose to her during Sir Elton John's performance at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Electric Proms on Thursday night.
