Ricky and his guests stimulate, refresh and inspire your Sunday morning. They talk about families, and what kind of collective responsibility we as a society have for them.
Sunday's with Ricky Ross - 24th Oct 2010
In light of Jeremy Hunt's comments about having only as many children as you can afford, and the recent cuts affecting families, it seems we may not be such a family-friendly Britain. Ricky and his guests delve into family matters, exploring whether people on benefits should take responsibility for the number of children they have, or should we as a society, and especially our government take a more collective approach to looking after the welfare of children.
Writer, film maker and humans rights activist Gita Sahgal, tells Ricky what's behind her dedication to champion women's rights.
And Ricky meets up with John & Mary Miller, on one of their brief visits back to Glasgow. They talk about mourning their beloved Castlemilk, and keeping hope when faith is tested.
