Hammond Organs

Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings on the Hammond Organ with some entertaining pieces from it'as 76 year history

Nigel Ogden celebrates the distinctive sound of the Hammond Organ with tracks from various points in it's 76 year history. The various developments in electronic technology which have taken place over the years have meant that, because the Hammond organ as a brand has been around since 1934, all sorts of changes have taken place to do with the way in which the Hammond sound is produced but, despite that, it's a sound that has always remained generally recognisable.
