Episode 4 of 4
Mariella Frostrup and her guests share expertise and advice about how parents can help over-weight children. Why are so many of our children failing to eat healthily?
Where has it all gone wrong with children and food? The previous Labour Government spent nearly Β£2 billion over ten years attempting to tackle childhood obesity levels. Now more than one in three British children aged 5 to 13 are in the over-weight or obese category. Yet according to the latest research, parents of over-weight children don't even recognise that their children are too heavy to qualify as healthy. Mariella and her guests debate the tricky issue of raising healthy children.
Producer: Sarah Taylor.
