Gabby Logan presents from Newcastle with a tribute to Sir Bobby Robson, as part of 5 live's Septemberfest.
Gabby speaks to medics at the Sir Bobby Robson cancer trials research centre. Her guests include all three of Sir Bobby's sons, his widow Lady Elsie Robson, Alan Shearer, and Newcastle goalkeeper Steve Harper who played under Sir Bobby. Also on the programme, Mick Mills, who was Sir Bobby's Ipswich captain, and Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson.
In the second hour of the show, Michael Vaughan gives his reaction to the news that Andrew Flintoff is retiring from all forms of cricket.
Plus the latest from day one of Pope Benedict's visit to the UK. Following a state reception in the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Pope Benedict travels through the streets of Edinburgh to greet the crowds.
