Krishna Das started life as Jeffrey Kagel. But a deep longing and search for something more meaningful took him away from the New York music scene, which was his life, to a remote Indian temple in the foothills of the Himalayas. Two massive epiphanies later, Krishna Das found his way forward as a devotional chant master. He now performs 'Kirtan' (Hindu devotional chanting) all over the world, blending it into the rock 'n' roll of his youth, and has worked with the likes of The Beastie Boys and music producer Rick Rubin. With all this experience and enlightenment, Ricky finds out what Krishna would say to the young searching soul that he once was.
