Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings as some of the world's star players demonstrate their skills as both arrangers and performers.

Nigel Ogden presents a programme of popular organ recordings with some of the world's star players demonstrating their abilities not only in terms of arranging the music but also the way in which they utilise all the different tone colours available on the theatre organ which, of course, is often referred to as a one-man orchestra. Simon Gledhill begins on the 5 manuals and 80 pipes of the Sanfillipo Wurlitzer with his imaginative scoring of the music for ET and Richard Hills ends the show with his witty and rousing interpretation of the classic Tiger Rag. Along the way we hear music from Carmen and a brilliant rendition of The Donkey Serenade by Amercian maestro Walter Strony on the Krughoff Wurlitzer in Illiinois.
