Dance duo Orbital - AKA brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll - present a special edition of the 6 Mix, warming up for their return to Glastonbury Festival after a 6 year absence headlining the Other Stage. The duo, who first played the festival in 1994 became known for a string of iconic performances on Pilton Farm, and have played on the Pyramid, Other and Jazz World stages over a fifteen year period. In this special show, the band share their Glastonbury memories of the last 15 years, from their first ever appearance to what was billed as their 'final' ever show as a band at Glastonbury in 2004. They relive the highs - and lows - of the Glastonbury experience and share what it's like to headline such an important cultural event. They also talk about how it felt to be invited back to play the Festival's 40th birthday after reforming last year, and tease ahead to what listeners can expect from tonight's performance. Orbital also delve in to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive to replay some classic Glastonbury performances including 'Chime' 'Style' and 'Satan'. In the last half hour there's also a mix of artists the brothers will be checking out elsewhere on the festival bill, including The Unthanks, Muse and Alabama 3.
