European Championships 2010 Gala Pt 2 - Brass Band Oberosterreich

Frank Renton presents Brass Band Oberosterreich in concert as hosts of the 2010 European Championships. They are conducted by Hans Buchegger who also formed the band.

Frank Renton presents Brass band Oberosterreich at the gala concert following the recent European Championships held in Linz. Before Hans Buchegger formed the band their was virtually no brass band scene in Austria to speak of and their increasing success in the competition has put them firmly on the European map. Hans Gansch, the brilliant ex lead trumpet of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra brings his piccolo trumpet, and we hear Oberosterreich favourites including the vocals of Regina Millinger who has also recorded with them.
