Famous South African sportsmen such as Gary Player, Chester Williams and Steven Pienaar tell of their experiences in apartheid South Africa, and John Emburey explains why he broke the international boycott to compete in South Africa.
In the programme we also meet some of the forgotten sportsmen during the apartheid years, including footballers such as Webster Lichaba, who starred for the Orlando Pirates.
