Graham Stewart and guests debate why so few Scottish companies are exporting and how much of that is because of the language barrier.

Graham Stewart and guests discuss the stories and issues making the news in business.

This week he's joined by Donald Kerr, head of commercial banking at Bank of Scotland, and Stephen Roper, Professor of Enterprise and Director of the Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises at Warwick Business School.

Following reports this week from Ernst and Young's Scottish ITEM Club and Bank of Scotland, we ask why so few SMEs are exporting, how much of that is down to the language barrier and whether banks are lending enough.

And Vincent Boland of the Financial Times gives our business editor Douglas Fraser his assessment of BP's handling of the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
