Daniel paid tribute to rock legend Ronnie James Dio who sadly passed away this week. He played the Black Sabbath classic ‘Heaven & Hell’ plus Killswitch Engage’s cover of ‘Holy Diver’.

Daniel spoke to Chino and Abe from Deftones who were in session at Maida Vale. DPC played four of the session tracks from their new album ‘Diamond Eyes’. Zane Lowe will be playing another of the live tracks on his show next Wednesday.

Slash was also on the show talking about his new solo album which features artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl and Chris Cornell.

This week’s Mauler was brand new from Pendulum and featured Swedish metal band In Flames plus there was new music from Avenged Sevenfold, Far and The Armed.
