However, their hosts have exceeded expectations in their first season back in the top flight and could prove obdurate opponents.

In the late kick-off, defending champions Manchester United are in action at neighbours Bolton, where they have only lost once in more than 30 years. Owen Coyle's Bolton need the points as desperately as United as they strive to maintain their Premier League status.
