Thousands of young people currently participate in over forty Feisean throughout Scotland. Ingrid Henderson tells the story of these festivals of Gaelic music, song and dance.

Fèis is the Gaelic word for a festival or feast and over the past 30 years it has become synonymous with the movement running Gaelic arts tuition festivals for young people throughout Scotland. She explains how the movement has played a large part in changing attitudes towards Gaelic and hears why it is now regarded as being rather cool to be able to play a fiddle, pick up an accordion or sing a Gaelic songs.
