Mark presents music from the last 70 years plus a session with gritty soul singer Geno Washington.

The best music from the last 70 years along with a session recorded at Maida Vale with gritty soul singer Geno Washington.

Initially stationed in England for the American Air Force during the early '60s, Geno Washington is best known for fronting the Ram Jam Band and achieving Top 10 chart success with the albums Hand Clappin' Foot Stompin' Funky-Butt...Live! and Hipsters, Flipsters, Finger-Poppin' Daddies!

Geno finally earned his only number one hit (of sorts), when Dexys Midnight Runners track "Geno", which was a tribute song to Geno, went to number one in the charts.
