Episode 7
Jools is joined by Maxwell, Stereophonics, Diana Krall, Wild Beasts and the Unthanks with their eight-piece supporting cast of strings, drums, brass, guitar and piano.
Joining Jools on this show is Maxwell, the prince of nu-soul, who first made his Later debut in 1996 and now returns to perform tracks from his recent Black Summer's Night album.
Stereophonics made their TV debut on Later in 1997 and return to the show for an incredible ninth time, on the eve of the release of their next album Keep Calm and Carry On.
Canadian Diana Krall also returns to the show, for the first time since the 90s, with a number or two from her acclaimed Samba-inflected Quiet Nights album, which was inspired by a trip to Brazil.
Also performing are Wild Beasts, who come down from the Lake District as one of the most talked-about bands in the country, thanks to their highly acclaimed second album Two Dancers, and there is some moody Northumbrian folk courtesy of the Unthanks, comprising the vocal harmonies of Rachel Unthank and sister Becky plus an eight-piece supporting cast of strings, drums, brass, guitar and piano with tunes from their much acclaimed album Here's the Tender Coming.
