Jamie Cullum presents a four part series featuring highlights from this year's 43rd Montreux Jazz Festival.

This international event began in 1967 and has grown from a three day event, featuring European
jazz artists, into a two week festival encompassing almost every musical genre. A diverse mix of artists including George Benson, Marianne Faithfull, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Bettye Lavette and Peter Cincotti all played this year and will feature during the course of the series.

In the first programme, Jamie introduces music from B.B. King, McCoy Tyner Trio, Alela Diane and David Sanborn.
